Allo allo!

SO!

I realize that I haven't blogged for a few days! Catch up time...

Friday night of the weekend was fun. There was an art opening down at Rodman, and I have to admit it was one of my favorite art openings. The artist works with wood, and his pieces were incredible!! Also, the food for the opening was incredible--they went above and beyond for this show. I was impressed on all sorts of levels. I waited in Rodman, then, for Zach to get off of work at Storzer, and then we went grocery shopping (I need some food for my room!) and also bought food for a late, late dinner. We watched "Meet the Robinsons", a Disney movie. It was cute, not my favorite, but enjoyable. And it was a nice date with Zach.

Saturday the sorority had retreat, which was fun. It was an all day affair, but there was some good bonding time. Afterwards Zach and I left for Milwaukee...you know that Spring is somewhat on it's way when it's still light out around 6. I'm at work right now, it's 4.33. A month ago it would be well on its way to becoming dark!!

Why Milwaukee? Well, because I needed a new laptop. We stopped by my house, had dinner, talked with my parents a little bit before they headed out to the Buck's game, and then we went to Best Buy to see what was available! There we found my new laptop! And Sunday morning we went out with my dad and brother to pick it up...long story short--mission accomplished and thanks to my wunderbar parents for getting it for me!

Zach and I also visited Emily and Ross while we were there, and went to a place called Ma Fisher's. It was like my other favorite 24-hour diner, Johnny Vs, but almost better I feel. It was great! Good times.

Hmm what else...Yea. Now the new week has started, officially the 4th week. 12 more to go...

So I realized today something kind of scary. Time is SO elusive. I found a penny in my pocket in between classes today and looked at the date. It was made in Denver, CO in 1999. A series of things ran through my head, like "oh yea, right before the whole 'Y2K' deal, right before one of the most exciting new years ever...OH MY GOD THAT WAS TEN YEARS AGO!!!"

Ten years ago!! I was in fourth grade...Ten years ago!! I...gah! 2000, the year that was so easy in History classes because we could easily subtract for historical dates, or even our parents birthdays. And then after 2000, we'd just tack on or off another year, still using 2000 as the base marker...Oh my god.

Sigh. On that note of my realizations of time and age...gah! I'm off to dinner. I'll see you all later!
